“Musicians are the main acts who take centre stage. Their faces well-known, their voices heard. However, they are but one part of a network of people who support, manage, promote, create on behalf of and help propel musicians’ careers forward. 

SPOTLIGHT brings to the forefront the people who make a massive contribution to the music industry. From session players and producers, to publicists and album designers, each of these people play an integral and essential role. While less often documented, these people are as valuable as the main act.

SPOTLIGHT illuminates and celebrates the contribution of 9 professionals who contribute from the background. A series of vinyl LPs, each record shares their stories, their experiences and their anecdotes through audio interviews and photographs.” - Taylor Thornley
